What we are looking for
Semperis is looking for an Associate Vice President, Pre-Sales, EMEA to lead, develop, and scale our Pre-Sales organization across the region.
This is first and foremost a people and business leadership role. You will lead a distributed team of senior Sales Engineers and frontline managers, with responsibility for developing leaders, building a high-performance culture, managing talent and capacity, and driving consistent execution across EMEA.

We are looking for an exceptional leader with strong executive presence, commercial judgment, and technical credibility. Your primary responsibility will be leading the organization rather than acting as an individual contributor, while selectively engaging as an executive technical sponsor on strategic opportunities.
**Location: UK, Germany, or France

What you'll be doing:
Lead and develop the EMEA organization

• Lead, recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing team of senior Sales Engineers and frontline managers across EMEA.

• Coach and develop managers, strengthening leadership capability and building a pipeline of future leaders.

• Set clear goals, expectations, and accountability while creating a culture of trust, collaboration, high performance, and continuous development.

• Own talent strategy, succession planning, organizational design, hiring, capacity planning, and resource allocation.

• Identify performance and capability gaps and address them through coaching, development, and organizational changes.

Partner with Sales and drive execution

• Partner closely with EMEA Sales leadership on regional strategy, pipeline, priorities, and execution.

• Share accountability for technical win rate, opportunity progression, customer confidence, and revenue influence.

• Ensure Pre-Sales resources are focused on the right opportunities and that teams deliver consistent, high-quality customer engagements.

• Act as an executive technical sponsor on selected strategic opportunities and customer engagements.

Build a scalable Pre-Sales organization

• Establish consistent standards and best practices across EMEA for technical discovery, qualification, demonstrations, and evaluations.

• Define and monitor measures of team performance, capacity, and effectiveness.

• Partner with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and global Pre-Sales leadership to improve execution and bring customer and field insights into the business.

• Represent Semperis with key customers, partners, and at selected industry events.

What you will bring to the table

• Significant experience leading Pre-Sales, Sales Engineering, or Solutions Engineering organizations, ideally within enterprise technology, Identity security and/or cybersecurity.

• Proven experience leading frontline managers and senior technical professionals across multiple countries.

• A strong track record of building, developing, scaling, and retaining high-performing teams.

• Exceptional people leadership and executive presence, with strong coaching, communication, influencing, decision-making, and change leadership skills.

• Experience managing performance, developing leaders, succession planning, organizational design, and capacity and resource planning.

• Strong commercial judgment and experience partnering with senior Sales leaders to drive regional growth.

• Technical credibility gained through previous experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Pre-Sales, or a similar customer-facing technical role.

• Strong working knowledge of Active Directory. Experience with identity security, Entra ID, Azure, Microsoft 365, Okta, or cybersecurity is highly valuable.

• Fluency in English required; additional European languages an advantage.

• Willingness to travel across EMEA.

Bonus points

• Identity and Access Management or cybersecurity experience.

• Security certifications such as CISSP or CISM.

• Experience representing a company at executive or industry events.
