Graduate Program (all genders)

Distribusion is the world’s leading ground transportation marketplace and gives travellers seamless access to ground transportation online, from search to ticket purchase. We have built a cutting-edge B2B technology platform that connects bus, rail, and ferry operators in 70+ countries with the biggest online retailers, including Google Maps and Booking.com.

We are shaping the future of travel and building the largest global network of transport providers and retailers. We are one of the fastest growing startups in travel, backed by two leading VCs (TQ Ventures & Lightrock), and now, following our recent $80m Series C funding, we are ready to push beyond.

Every day, millions of travelers book buses, trains, ferries and transfers through platforms they know, and many of those bookings run on Distribusion. We connect hundreds of carriers with the world’s leading travel retailers, making ground transport as easy to book as a flight.

We’re looking for ambitious graduates who want real responsibility from day one. As part of our Graduate Program, you’ll join one of our core teams as an Analyst or Engineer, work on live products used across the globe, and learn alongside people who are building the infrastructure of ground travel.

Workplace: Berlin & Remote or willing to relocate to Berlin.

Where you could make your mark

Product: Analyst roles

• Search Engine & Booking Platform: Build the core engine that returns fast, scalable search results and handles thousands of booking requests per second.

• Supply & Integrations: Connect hundreds of external carrier APIs and help build robust, fault‑tolerant infrastructure that keeps bookings flowing.

• E‑commerce: Shape the booking engines, payment flows and user journeys that let travelers search, book, pay for and manage trips. Your work directly moves conversion and retention for a global audience across many markets, currencies and languages.

• Connectivity: Build enterprise‑grade integrations with external systems like Salesforce, SAP, CRMs and government authorities, with a strong focus on automation and innovation.

Tech: Engineer roles

• Demand Engineering: Work on the heart of our platform: the search and booking engine that lets the world’s biggest travel retailers sell bus and rail tickets through a single API, and the schedule system behind hundreds of thousands of daily departures used by hundreds of operators. Build high‑throughput microservices, help modernize our core search engine, and shape the product, not just the code.

• Content Engineering: Build the pipelines that keep global travel data accurate and up to date. Automate how we ingest stations, prices and schedule changes in real time, and apply AI to keep millions of data points reliable at scale.

Partnerships

• Regional Partnerships: Work hands‑on with bus, rail, ferry and transfer operators and leading travel retailers in your region, guiding them from first integration to growing their bookings across our global network.

• Corporate Partnerships: Bring ground transport into business travel by working with travel management companies, corporate travel agencies and booking tools, from technical onboarding to growing the partnership.

• Performance & Growth: Dig into partner data, spot opportunities, and build the processes and automation that help us scale.

Who you are:

• STEM or tech-related academic background - You’re a recent (or soon-to-be) graduate in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, Business/Information Systems, or a similar field.
Analytical mindset & problem-solving - You love digging into complex problems, understanding how things work, and turning ambiguity into clear, structured solutions.

• Technical curiosity: You have a basic understanding of APIs, systems or digital products (through studies, internships or projects), and you’re excited to build with AI, whether that’s experimenting with new tools, prototyping ideas or putting AI to work on real problems in a high‑scale environment.

• Strong communication - You can explain ideas clearly, whether talking to engineers, product managers, or business teams — and you enjoy bridging technical and non-technical worlds.

• Collaborative & cross-functional - You like working with diverse teams and feel comfortable contributing to group projects, Agile teamwork, and shared problem-solving.

• Fast learner & adaptable - You thrive in dynamic environments, pick up new tools and concepts quickly, and stay resilient when things change or are not fully defined.

• Ownership & ambition - You’re eager to take responsibility early, bring ideas to the table, and help shape processes that improve how products get delivered.

What you can expect:

• Global reach & real-world impact - You help build software that enables travel for millions of people globally; your work supports real journeys across countries and continents, and makes transportation more accessible.

• Cutting-edge tech in a high‑scale environment - From microservices and real-time search to AI-based content automation and cloud infrastructure, you’ll gain hands-on experience with many modern technologies and complex systems.

• Fast growth & startup energy - Distribusion is rapidly expanding globally (70+ countries, hundreds of carriers/retailers), backed by strong funding — you’ll have the opportunity to take real ownership early, learn fast, and grow with the company.

• Variety: you can pick what excites you - Whether you like backend APIs, front‑end booking flows, data & analytics or product. There are many teams and disciplines where you can start, explore and specialise.

• Meaningful mission — mobility & sustainability - By enabling efficient ground transportation (bus, rail, ferry) globally, Distribusion contributes to more sustainable travel alternatives to private cars or flights.

• Global partnerships & industry exposure - You’ll collaborate with some of the biggest names in travel technology and national transportation, working directly with partners like Booking.com, Google Maps, Amtrak, Deutsche Bahn, Renfe, and SNCF.

• International team & inspiring culture - You’ll join a diverse, mission-driven team where talented people support, challenge, and learn from one another every day, a place to grow fast and make a real impact.
