Producer

Join Our Team as a Producer at Beyond Sports!

Hi, I’m Suman, I'm leading the producer's team here at Beyond Sports in Alkmaar, and I’m excited to invite you to consider joining us as a Producer.

If you’re a technically savvy organiser who thrives on the adrenaline of live broadcasting, loves bridging the gap between complex software and creative output, and wants to be the person who guarantees the show goes on, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

What Your Day Will Look Like

As a Producer at Beyond Sports, you are the operational heartbeat of our productions. You won't just be managing schedules; you will be hands-on with the technology that powers our broadcasts. You will take full responsibility for our system on location, often serving as the primary Beyond Sports representative on-site.

Each day brings a different challenge. During live events, you are operating key broadcast software, handling live switching, managing media assets, and troubleshooting digital tools to ensure flawless real-time execution. You’ll coordinate with directors, technical crews, and talent to ensure the output is nothing short of perfect.

When you aren't on location, you are the architect of our efficiency. You’ll be scheduling games for the NFL, NHL, and NBA, managing data storage, and stress-testing our software. You’ll also play a vital role in development, providing proactive feedback to our dev teams, creating documentation to avoid single points of failure, and helping us conceptualise tools that make our products better for the end user.

What We Value

At Beyond Sports, we move fast, aim high, and never settle. We believe in creativity, technical excellence, and ownership, giving you the freedom to innovate while supporting you with a team that’s as passionate as you are.

You’ll fit right in if you:

• Love the pressure of Live: You stay cool, calm, and collected when troubleshooting hardware or software issues in a real-time broadcast environment.

• Are a natural communicator: You have the verbal and written skills (in English) to liaison smoothly between directors, technical staff, and our internal dev teams.

• Are flexible and adventurous: You are willing to travel frequently and comfortable working evenings and weekends when sports are happening.

• Have a "Fix-It" mindset: You can identify graphical or technical inconsistencies and don't just report them, you understand the effort needed to fix them and can prioritise accordingly.

• Take ownership: whether it’s managing a budget, planning a risk management strategy, or training a client on how to use our tools.

This role is based on-site at our Alkmaar office (32–40 hours per week) with frequent travel. You’ll need to be living in the Netherlands and eligible to travel outside of the EU.

Tech Stack and Skill Requirements:

You don’t need to tick every box, but here’s what we’re looking for:

• Experience: Experience in a broadcast, technical production, or IT operations role (Junior, Medior, and Senior levels considered).

• Technical Core: A basic understanding of production pipelines, playback systems, live switching software, broadcast workflows, and data, including how a live broadcast operates from production to delivery.

Nice to have:

• Hardware/Software: Ability to monitor performance, manage virtual machines, and troubleshoot data errors.

• Content Creation: Experience with Post and Live production, clip creation, or sports editing is a strong plus.

• Analytical Skills: The ability to plan backwards from a live event, set milestones, and formulate backup plans before issues arise.

• Bonus: Familiarity with data storage management and QA processes.

Why Level Up Your Career at Beyond Sports:

• Fast-paced. High-impact. Zero boredom. We move quickly, ship often, and build experiences that reach millions. You’ll be working at the intersection of sports, data, and entertainment.

• Build with freedom. Scale with purpose. You won’t just press buttons, you’ll influence the development of new features and help refine our hardware and software logic.

• Never stop learning. We invest in your growth, whether that’s mastering new broadcast tools, advancing your leadership skills, or learning the intricacies of VR production.

• Global impact, real users. Your work will be seen and experienced by fans and partners around the world.

We also make sure it’s a great place to grow:

• 25 days off per year – rest is part of performance

• Pension program – future you says thanks

• Lunch program– no daily food logistics

• Gym card – stay sharp on and off the screen

• Fresh fruit, coffee, and Friday drinks

• Bi-monthly outings – get out, bond, reset

• Office games – FIFA, chess, or ping-pong to unwind

Ready to Make an Impact?

If you’re someone who thrives on ensuring technical perfection in a live environment and wants to help build the future of sports tech, we’d love to hear from you.

At Beyond Sports, you won’t just be watching the game, you’ll be powering how the world experiences it.
