Product Manager Digital Commerce

About S4D and the Digital Commerce Team

We build the technology behind quick-service restaurants across Europe and beyond. Our platform connects point of sale, kitchen display systems, e-commerce, self-service kiosks, delivery management and aggregator integrations into one ecosystem, so every order flows smoothly from menu browsing to doorstep delivery.

Data drives our direction and technology is what our essence is. We want to innovate and build the best Digital Commerce ecosystem out there for the QSR industry. Therefore, DC is one of our core strategic pillars and we’re investing heavily in a new platform with state-of-the-art technology that is future-, and with that, AI-ready.

You think AI is taking over jobs? Nope - we believe it’s accelerating opportunities instead, allowing to solve problems smarter and faster and therefore we’re at the forefront of AI with Agentic Agile at the core of this role.

What you’ll do in short, beyond the standard Product Manager role

• Help shape the CPTO's Strategy & Vision and turn it into the DC roadmap, backlog and sprints, from 2 weeks to 18 months.

• Act as a growth partner for our customers. Monitor their day-to-day data and help their marketing and digital teams get more out of their DC setup, from conversion to loyalty.

• Get your hands dirty with prototyping. Use vibe-coding to visualize your ideas, and get feedback from customers before a single ticket is created.

• Know our customers better than they know themselves. Take their feedback and turn it into product-led ideas that solve problems they didn't know they had:

• Keep improving the way product, tech, and data work together.

Moreover

• You own the vision and strategy for the Digital Commerce platform, together with the CPTO. You share it clearly, so everyone knows where DC is heading and why.

• You find problems, friction points and unmet needs using data, research and direct feedback. You keep an eye on market trends, competitors and new tech, AI included, to improve how guests discover, engage with and order through our platform.

• You work closely with Operations to understand what really matters to our customers. You turn their needs into requests that fit the product strategy, and you're confident saying no when something doesn't fit the product-led roadmap.

• You turn fuzzy problems into clear hypotheses, prototypes and scoped initiatives. Then you take them all the way from early discovery through build, launch and iteration.

• You team up with Engineering, Design, Data and the other PMs to build and ship new DC initiatives. You get everyone aligned on priorities, handle dependencies across teams and keep delivery on track.

• You build a strong relationship with Design and bring a good eye for it, so our guest experiences stay simple, coherent and distinctive.

• You translate customer, business and technical input into clear, well-structured tickets that engineers can pick up and deliver without guesswork.

• You own and prioritise the DC backlog based on strategy, OKRs, customer needs and discovery findings. You work with the DC Team Lead on feasibility, sequencing and trade-offs, while keeping the customer and business outcome front and centre.

• You define the DC metrics that matter and track them across key customers to see how the platform performs as a whole. You design and run A/B tests that improve the product and give us insights to help customers get more out of their DC setup.

• 3+ years experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager on digital e-commerce products

• A solid feel for dashboards, analytics, reporting, and data products.

  • Google Analytics skills

• The ability to translate messy input into clear direction.

• Confidence working with both technical and non-technical counterparts.

• A hands-on mindset and a bias for getting things done.

• Enough structure to keep things moving, and enough flexibility to adapt when needed.

• Knowing AI beyond simple prompts

• Knowing the difference between Product Vision and shipping features

• Clear communication and presentation skills at all levels, from customers to leadership
