WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS

Senior Project Manager role is defined by delivery leadership and deep accountability for customer success. Rather than focusing on process, you act as the architect of the delivery experience—shaping priorities, navigating complex trade-offs, and ensuring that every milestone is directly tied to the realization of the customer's desired business outcomes..

This role links strong delivery leadership to the health of the Professional Services business by balancing customer value, delivery quality, resource efficiency, and engagement discipline. Strong Senior Project Managers improve delivery predictability, customer confidence, account health, expansion and renewal potential, and MongoDB’s reputation as a trusted partner in complex transformations. As AI becomes a larger customer priority, the role also helps identify where AI consultation can improve outcomes or delivery efficiency and ensures the right experts are engaged.
