Staff Product Manager - Platform

We're looking for a Staff Product Manager to take on the hardest problems in the data and integration platform that everything at Nelly runs on: how practice data gets into Nelly from dozens of practice management systems, how partners connect to us, and how that data becomes something every product can depend on. At Staff level, your scope follows the problem, across teams and over time into product-wide questions.

The problem space: Every Nelly product, from documentation to billing to payments, depends on data that lives in a practice's management system. There are dozens of them, each with its own data model and interfaces.

How many practices we can serve, how much of their work we can automate, and how much they trust the result come down to four questions: can we connect, can we read and write deeply enough, is the data any good once it arrives, and can every product and team inside Nelly easily build on it?

About Nelly

We are building the AI-Driven Financial Operating System for European healthcare, solving the biggest challenges for patients and practices. We create what no bank or software platform can handle. Our all-in-one platform transforms chaotic administrative processes into intelligent, automated workflows, from patient care to billing to next-generation payments. Because we truly believe: healthcare should be less about paperwork and more about people.

Why? Because Europe is facing a massive shortage of medical professionals. And if we don't rethink the way practices work, the system won't be able to keep up. With our Series B funding of over €50 million from world-class investors, we are turning our vision into reality.

What sets us apart: We work with the best team, which is why we give everything together every day. We believe in Talent Density, because exceptional people make everyone around them better. At Nelly, we move fast and expect everyone to keep up. Stagnation isn’t an option, which is why we invest heavily in growth. AI is an essential part of how we work at Nelly. We expect you to use it every day and give you everything you need to do so. You get trust and ownership and we expect you to speak up, even when it's uncomfortable.

Joining us, you will:

• Own the strategy, metrics and roadmap for hard data and integration problems, from how data leaves a practice's system, through ingestion and modelling, to the products that rely on it, tied to real practice value and to how Nelly makes money

• Shape how partners connect to Nelly through our External API, so we can serve practices on any system and open new markets beyond Germany

• Define the core data every product relies on: what a patient, an appointment, a treatment plan or an invoice means, who owns it, and how fresh and reliable it is, with GDPR and health-data regulation built in from the start

• Make data and integration quality measurable and visible, and move it, because practices feel a silent failure long before we do

• Hold an end-to-end model of the platform and be a credible partner to engineering on architecture and trade-offs

What you'll bring:

• Agency. You go after the problems that matter most, including well beyond your immediate scope, rather than waiting for a roadmap to land on your desk

• Comfort in a high-velocity environment. You move fast, make bold but reversible calls, and challenge early and directly, including upward

• Business-outcome orientation. You're genuinely data-driven: you can name the metric each project moves and let evidence, not gut feel, drive prioritisation

• Technical fluency. You reason confidently about APIs, data models, data flows and how systems fit together, and you're a credible partner to senior engineers

• You build with AI. You use AI to move faster: prototyping to pressure-test an idea, taking a first pass on the analysis or the spec yourself, shipping the small things directly, so your time goes to judgment and the decisions that move the product

• 7+ years of product management experience

Even better if you have:

• Built and shipped AI products

• Worked on data platforms or data products

• Built B2B SaaS in healthcare or another regulated industry

• Professional German language knowledge

Our Interview Process:

• Introduction to Nelly with TA

• Product craft interview with our Product manager

• Case study interview with Director of Product

• Onsite interview with hiring manager and stakeholders

What we offer:

• The people you get to work with. You will work alongside the brightest minds we could find, on hard problems, as a team. We take on challenges together and we never forget to have fun doing it.

• Room to grow faster than almost anywhere else. New challenges, more scope, real ownership from day one. We trust you to own it and to speak up when something is wrong. Just do not expect to stand still.

• A yearly learning and development budget, plus the coaching, feedback and internal knowledge that actually move you forward. Real investment in your learning.

• A front row seat while we build something big. We are building the financial operating system for European healthcare, with AI woven into how we build, sell and support. Real scope, real impact.

• Deutschlandticket or Swapfiets membership, so you get around the city fast.

• Urban Sports Club membership, for sport and balance.

• Flexible working hours and a hybrid setup.

• Up to 4 weeks of workation.

• A dog friendly office with great vibes and a team that is fun to work with.

We welcome applications from people of all genders and backgrounds, regardless of origin or age. If you're convinced you're the right fit for this role - even if your CV doesn't match the requirements 100% - tell us why.
