Company Overview
Metrea delivers effects-as-a-service to national security partners across five domains and more than a dozen mission areas. These include airborne ISR, electronic warfare, secure communications, aerial refueling, special air missions, aerial firefighting, and advanced simulation. We own the whole stack: designing, building, and operating turnkey capabilities that give our partners decisive, asymmetric advantage against rapidly evolving threats.
Our operating model is built around three interlocking pillars. The Support Groups provide a global shared-service – spanning people, finance, platform, operations, legal, and engagement. This frees up our Core Groups, who develop and own mission capabilities end-to-end, to focus entirely on delivery. The Market Groups apply a regional lens, ensuring that our agile and adaptable capabilities remain aligned to the wicked problems that matter most to our partners across the Americas, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific.
At the heart of our model is a simple but powerful idea: be a true partner with skin in the game. Our partners need effects, not just equipment. By owning the full stack – from the lab to the field – we are able to drive a continuous cycle of innovation that keeps our partners ahead. It's a fast-moving, intellectually demanding environment where talented people are given real responsibility, work on problems that matter, and contribute to an enterprise that is growing quickly and deliberately.
Headquartered in Washington, DC, with facilities across the United States, the United Kingdom, as well as Continental Europe and Asia-Pacific.
Group Overview:
Metrea Management is our global shared service providing support for the Capabilities in areas such as People, Finance, Legal, Strategy, Safety, Security and Information Technology.
Metrea delivers effects-as-a-service to national security partners across five domains and more than a dozen mission areas—including airborne ISR, electronic warfare, secure communications, aerial refueling, special mission aviation, aerial firefighting, and advanced simulation. Whenever we operate, we build vertically integrated full stacks of capability—designing, building, and operating turnkey solutions that let customers scale capacity while benefiting from continuous cycles of innovation. With operators and engineers under one roof, we close the gap between lab and field—what we call connecting design with effect. Metrea’s solutions are built for elegance: effective, efficient, and evolving. This approach enables our partners to do more with less and achieve outsized, asymmetric advantage against rapidly evolving threats. Headquartered in Washington, DC, Metrea has facilities across the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, and beyond.
Position Summary
At Metrea, we seek out the most complex national security challenges and proactively develop elegant solutions. Those solutions start with our people, and their ability to deliver mission-critical effects around the world.
Our Talent Acquisition team is focused on delivering equally compelling and strategic recruiting solutions to our teammates and business leaders through deep recruiting expertise, a consultative approach, and analytical rigour. In this role, you will partner closely with leaders across Metrea's European Support Groups to deliver high-quality hiring that enables the business to scale. You'll manage a broad portfolio of roles ranging from senior, high-touch searches to operational and specialist hiring, whilst leading a small team.
We're actively investing in our TA function and you'll own meaningful pieces of that build alongside your peers across Support. You will be successful if you are an experienced in-house recruiter who runs searches with sound judgement, knows what exceptional recruiting looks like, and can confidently influence senior stakeholders with clear recommendations and thoughtful challenge. Equally important: you're someone who wants to contribute to how we recruit at Metrea, lead and develop talent, and take ownership of projects that shape the way we work.

- Champion Metrea's employer brand across Europe to attract mission-aligned talent, bringing clarity and energy to who we are and why people should join us
- Collaborate across the TA function to develop and refine our recruiting practices, bringing your perspective and learning from peers working across other parts of the business

Our Firmware
At Metrea, our single core value is Rooted in Humility, and our four cornerstone attributes are Entrepreneurial, Systematic, Discerning, and Over-Deliver. These form what we call our Teammate Firmware. Just like technical firmware connects software and hardware, our Firmware is the constant interface between our mission and our people. It defines how we show up, how we work together, and how we solve complex problems.
Our team Firmware creates a web-like, hyper-collaborative, dynamically hierarchical way of working that helps us adapt quickly, communicate openly, and distribute decision-making to where expertise actually lives. It enables groups to self-organize around hard problems, shift fluidly as priorities evolve, and operate with the trust, curiosity, and discipline required in a complex mission space. This foundation allows us to deliver elegant, effective solutions and uphold our purpose: protecting our precious inheritance.
